Privacy Policy

BrendaGPT (brendagpt.com and the BrendaGPT mobile apps) is a faith-and-family assistant made by Short Bread Apps LLC. This page says plainly what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Account info — your name and email address when you create an account.
• Your conversations — what you say to Brenda and what she says back, saved to your account so you can pick up where you left off.
• Things you ask Brenda to keep (members) — recipes, contacts, receipts, grocery lists, files, prayer requests, and facts about your household that you share in conversation.
• Email for the daily prayer — only if you ask for it; every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
• Basic technical data — the kind any web service receives (IP address, device type, timestamps) used for security, rate limiting and to keep the service running. Guest conversations (what you ask and Brenda's replies) are stored without your name, keyed to a one-way hash, for 180 days, so we can review them and improve Brenda.

What we do with it

We use your data to run BrendaGPT for you and to make Brenda better. Your messages are sent to AI model providers to generate replies. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to track you across other apps or websites.

Payments

Memberships purchased on brendagpt.com are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Your choices

• You can delete any conversation from inside the app or site.
• You can delete your whole account — and everything in it — from the Account screen in the app, or by emailing shortbreadapps@gmail.com from your account email. Deletion is complete within 30 days.
• Unsubscribe from the daily prayer email with the link in any email.

Children

BrendaGPT is for adults and families; it is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and stored on Amazon Web Services in the United States.
